No, my firewood is not put up but the ground is soaked, so I am thinking of getting into an in-frame on my DB885 during the delay. I really should be deer hunting but... Anyway, on the UK forum I read mention that the original exhaust valves of some models of David Brown are a potential fail so should be replaced and not re-used. Fact or fiction and if fact, does the 885 fall under the heading of [i:6b928fd15c]better replace 'em while it's apart[/i:6b928fd15c]?
Likely wear is going to dictate new valves (at least) but that won't be determined until it's apart.
