I know some changes have occurred to YT, can someone explained in really easy steps how to post a pic now. Remember I know very little about putors, LOL. Rod.

1. At the bottom of the page (when you are typing up you message) there will be a "Choose files" button. Click on it.

2. This will bring up a window for you to go through your computer and select which files you would like to upload. You can choose more than one but I would recommend selecting them one at a time. Select your photo and hit "Open".

3. It will them show "Begin Uploads" This will stay until your photo has uploaded at which point it will change to "Total files uploaded: #" This is how you know that the website has received your images. If it gets stuck on "Begin Uploads" you need to hit "Return to Form" towards the top of the page and try again. Sometimes the site is finicky and doesnt want to upload one or (more commonly) more photos at a time so youll just have to play with it.

I would suggest going down to the "test forums" section at the bottom of the home page and experimenting there until you get a feel for it. Thats what I do.

I hope this helps.

If you are using Internet Explorer you won’t have much luck anymore. Try using Bing for your search engine. I was using Internet Explorer and couldn’t get the ‘search files’ to show up. Chris told me Microsoft isn’t supporting Internet Explorer anymore and suggested Bing. It works great on Bing.

You seem to understand about the photo thing. Why is it when I try to upload a pic every time it loads sideways? I have even tried to rotate it in my computer files before I try to upload but it still loads the same. I am no computer pro so I need simple instructions! Ha

Many times photos shot from phones will show up sideways when they are uploaded to this website. It has to do with how the phone indexed the photo when it was taken (landscape vs portrait). Even though you transfer the photo from your phone to your computer and it appears upright the website will still think it is sideways. I dont have the nuts and bolts answer for it but that is the simple version. I have the same issue and this is what I do to get the photos to come in upright:

1. I transfer the photos from my phone onto my computer.
2. I will open the photos with the program Photo Gallery (standard on all windows computers) on each photo I will tell it to rotate to the right or left (the buttons for this are in the lower right corner of the window) and then I will move on to the next photo and so on until I have rotated them all once. Then I will go back through and rotate them to the correct orientation I want. Each time you rotate a picture and move on it saves it in that setting. When you go to upload the photos to the website it will now see them as being whatever orientation you saved them as.
3. Upload photos to website.

This is not the professional fix I'm sure but it works for me and is super simple and has always fixed my sideways photos. As always, I suggest you go down to the Test Forum section and try it out.
