830 comfort king clutch

Recently, (after sitting about a month) my 830 is hard to get into gear. It feels like the clutch is not synching up. I try in 2nd and then jam into 1st and so on.

My question is; Is this a "rusty clutch" problem from sitting and will get better with use? OR do I need to try to adjust the clutch? And then is it an inner clutch adjustment, or a clutch pedal (outer) adjustment?

I've read through lots of your posts but none of them seem to "hit the nail on the head".

Thanks in advance.

Barry: Don't be jamming into gear, or grinding until you get this fixed. Something is terribly wrong, no matter whether it is Case-O-Matic or dry clutch. By grinding and jamming you risk breaking a fork, and chipping off gear teeth.

Case o matic or a dry clutch? If a dry clutch the pedal should have 1 1/4" of freeplay at the pedal.

Its the row crow style. I believe dry clutch but will admit I'm not 100%.
