I?m curious how the lineup of cab steer Case tractors handle auger wagon duty at harvest. The concept of auger wagons at harvest really didn?t exist at the time of their creation. Does anyone operate them in this function? I have been told that the drawbar and rear joints and axles are not up for the task. I guess to narrow the topic we could focus on the 1470, 2470,2670 etc. what are people?s opinions? I know it also depends on size of cart too.

This is just personal curiosity for me.

One neighbor uses a 2470, goes like a bat out of heck. Another has a 4494...same thing with 1000 bu. carts. Use to see 2470 and 2670s down in Arkansas turned into self propelled grain carts. I don't see a issue.
