We have all heard the excuses, "Oh we cant build them, as we wouldn't get enough orders" Well if someone would step up for J.I.Case Combines and build a collector, you can put me down for 4.

And I dont want a little "S" enclosed is my "A6" that I bought from another collector.

Speak up my friends. Are you wandering why? How about a "1660", "1060", "1010"?

Prices like that make collecting the real thing just that much easier . Be nice if ertl would mass produce a fairly decent shelf model like the prestige series John Deere combines at a price of around 100 or 150$

I'm still waiting for a five or six bottom semi-mounted plow to go with the 930/1030 Precision tractors Ertl came out with years ago. Or maybe a disk or field cultivator would be nice. Is that so much to ask for?

Dan,, sadly unless we have custom ones made I do not see it happening,, if its not red they could care less about it,, very obvious to me last year for the 175th,, they made who knows how many new red ones but could not make a single new item in the real Case colors,, Oh wait I have been jumped on for saying this as its in "poor taste to come here and complain" that said I seen a precision ih #45 hay baler for sale on a site last week,, precision 1466 you name it if its red they make models for it,, the 1665 you posted a link to looks for the most part "good" I would pay twice that for a bit better and Correct made one,, no 1665's had ABE on the straw hood sides as they were 69 and 70 only production, who knows what teh orange tube on the RH side is but if those items were changed I could live with one,, I may even call Bossen and check on it,, I think its Toy Farmer who has a NICE 1660,, you flip a switch and the machine turns, flip another switch and the lights come on,, its neat but when I checked on having one made like it it was more like 3500,, I am not spending that on a toy lol

What do you mean Tom, you cant complain, I will tell you what, I do and if someone has a good answer then bring it up. But most collectors are around 200.00 aren't they? My "930" was around 100.00. Tom we are having a discussion here, and your points to me are well taken. I wonder if we start sending some emails into our 2 magazines and more talking here, maybe we can stir up something.

Your spot on Tom, it was pretty sad as you mentioned about the 175th of the Case Company, and nothing for the old "Eagle". Tom, you and I have seen many naysayers in our lifetime

Yes, the link I provided isn't what I call collector quality as you pointed out.

I'm think a collector that would interest me would be 100-200. And my local Caseih dealer wouldn't stock thou, or probably order for me. But fine, I will give my business to someone else happily.

Dan I was venting a week or so back about how cih is only ih and could care less about real Case, a guy told me it was in bad taste to speak of it here on this site, LOL it did not affect me at all, I like you and others here know what Case was like int he 60's and 70's to be a dealer,, I am sure he had no clue about how any of that time was, there are a good number here who do not care for me and thats all good I still post some for my actual friends here and not for the ones who are mad just to be mad. I just love the "proper ones" who correct my grammar skills,, have to wonder if those ole boys write for any magazines for money like I do? Sure I may not be all grammar correct in my posts here,, way I look at it if my writing and words/posts are so dumb/ poorly written why do they even click on them to see what I wrote? Yup you guess it Dan I am venting again lol I just had one comment to me theres no way I could take the pics a year I claim I do,, said I would have to take 3 pics a hour for 24 hours a day to do it? What? thats on like 72 pics a day,, heck I download two the three times that a day many many days of the week,, he also wondered how I get anything else done but take pics all day? I guess not many can actually operate and do something else at the same time, I mean how long does it take you to stop and take a dozens shots at different angles? I really feel they are trying to pizz me off so I will just stop posting here at all,, more fun to stay here and read the comments,, I will gladly stop visiting here if the admins want me to though here is a pretty nicely done 960 I think it had like 675 on it but its been to long to be sure now

Tom, I understand your thoughts, and like you I notice a big change here, it isn't like the old days is it. Guess this is the "new forum". But I will continue to post things of interest, and hope you and our old friends here will also. I don't think many times those that help others here get no thanks at all. That to me is discouraging. I see now questions go unanswered, it might be too bad, but people get tired of being used without a simple "THANK YOU"

Custom built runs of one to ten unit runs might be you best option. Check with custom toy builders.

Most high volume manufacturers will consider special orders if the price and the volume are high enough for them to make a profit. Ask some toy makers for rough ballpark quotes on what you want, including rough volume/price breaks. If you need detailed quotes, be prepared to pay for the cost to work up the quotes (paid-quote).

One way to reduce the risk for manufacturers is for you to supply the tooling and dies or for you to pay for the cost to make the tooling and dies. You will own that tooling and can take them to other manufacturers whenever you want. Don't be surprised if your tooling investment could be over $100,000 for each model of toy.

Toy tractors can use diecast parts. A combine could be diecast, but sheet metal might be what you are asking for. Start by adding up the number of individual parts needed for each toy.

I agree that it would be nice to have access to a reasonably priced combine. If you find a supplier add my name to your list. When the Case steam engine replica was available from the Case dealer in 2017 I promptly bought one. The combines just don?t seem to be available for Case while nearly every other make is

Your point is well taken and interesting, but personally I don't plan to fund 100k, although I did stay at a Holiday Express last night
