There was a corn picking day nearby today and I was able to attend for a bit. They had a wide variety of pickers at work including a IM and 426. Here is the video of the IM at work.

It seems to be on a late DC with live power and long axles. No wheel extensions on the cast wheel to mount the rim to clear the drive chain.

The IM pickers are mounted to the left somewhat to give clearance for the steering turkey roost. A cast spacer moves the left wheel out to
give the steering arm clearance...that is the reason the later DCs have a curved steering arm. Mine has regular axles and has the spacer on
the left wheel.

Guess they changed the picture rules again. After the last go-around I was still posting pictures. Now on a picture previously posted it tells me it doesn't have some correct letters on the end of the pic. I give up!

It takes me back to sitting on the pan seat of a Super M and a 2ME picker [an osha nightmare]late in the day ,snow in the forecast the next day CM.
