Hi all,
New to the forum so any help would be great. I have a 1974 Case CK Backhoe. It has been parked for awhile and I decided to pull it out behind the barn the other day. When I started it up the "transmission hot" light was on right away when I started it. I checked the transmission fluid and that was a little low so I topped it off but the light is still on. I really don't have any idea where to go from here. Any ideaas would be great. Thanks, Dave

if its just a light to tell you when the transmission oil is hot then the light should not come on when you turn the key on. if it does suspect you have a grounding problem either in the wiring from the sensor to the light or sensor itself is bad. check the wiring first. follow it back from the light.

Thanks for all the help guys. I took off the shroud yestereday and it was a grounding problem like you both said. I really appreciate it. All fixed and ready to go again. Dave
