Couple of you guys mentioned how small the CASE 600 series combines seem the be. As this pic shows my CIH 1660 looks really big compared to the 660. And now my 1660 would look small sitting next to any new combine. I remember a neighbor had a E Gleaner, that was a teeny weeny combine also. Rod.

Made me think of something. Seems like as life goes on ? bigger is better?. ?supersize it? like the McDonalds saying goes.
But is bigger better? As we get older we want to ?downsize ?.
Sometime life seems a bit crazy and to fast paced. Slower and simplified seems like a better way to live. My thoughts for the moment.

Rod the newer machines are nice to run but I could spend all day in the 660 cab. I miss that old girl. I can still hear her doing her thing. Great machines. RB
 
I have to agree Jim, in three years I plan to only farm 12 ac and harvesting will be done with the 660, a true hobby farmer then, LOL. Rod.
 
I had a gleaner E once they are about the same size as a massey 35.As small as they were they more productive than a john deere 12a pull type.Scott
