WHAT IS THE EASIEST WAY TO R5EMOVE AND REPLACE THE CARB ON A DC. i HATE THAT JOB BUT CAN'T PUT IT
OFF ANY LONGER. I HAVE BEEN REMOVING ALL THE BOLTS THAT ATTACH THE CARB BUT IT TAKES FOREVER TO GET
THE INSIDE BOLT INTO THE AIR CLEANER ELBOW. I AM HANDICAPOPED AND HAVE TO DO EVERYTHING RIGHT
HANDED. THANKS!

There are many more experienced guys than me on the forum but I will tell you what I finally did.

It is a pain to get the inside nut tightened down and I took an small open end wrench and ground the handle down and the outside faces of the open end. This gave me room to get the wrench behind the carb and clearance to turn the nut tight along the carb flange.

I actually got pretty good at taking the whole carburetor and air cleaner assembly off as one piece, that way you can snug down the carb to the oil bath assembly beforehand!

Of course extra hands are a benefit to help you line things up and hold the assembly in place while you bolt it in

That is a tight spot ! AND, if the air cleaner assy is not aligned right, you can break off an 'ear' on the carb.
I like to loosen the air cleaner assy mounting, to let the carb seat well to it.. Or as said here, remove the whole assy.
