I'm a new member and wanted to say hello. I also purchased a new-to-me Case 801-B just a few days ago. I reside in Rapid City SD and picked up this Case in Greybull WY (I also plan to purchase a parts Case 801-B from the same individual cheap).
It's a 'rancher special' if you know what I mean, but with 4670 hours, it runs very nice and operates well. It's just very dirty and needs some TLC!
I plan to perform a cosmetic restoration and fix anything that's significantly worn or inoperable. I'll post updates along the way. My dad (now passed) owned this very same model (including a 930, 611, and 2670 4wd) so I'm dedicated this effort to him. I also belong to the Western Antique Club where I'll show this tractor during our Threshing Bee.
