830 head gasket set

have the heads on and torqued,, now wondering why there are so many flat rubber washers included with the kit,,, hope they weren't supposed to go somewhere on/with the head gaskets. there are four of the flat washers, six aluminum washers, cpl O rings about 1/2''... cpl. small O rings, they go on the rocker oil supply line.. thanx

That's what you get when you buy online, no direction. The 4 rubber flats go into the head gaskets where the push rod openings are. There should only have been 4 aluminum flats which are injector seals. There should also be 2 - O rings for the oil supply hole in the head gasket, which feeds the rockers. Don't forget to re-torque as the CASE shop manual outlines.

Trak,I don't mean to be a wise guy but John is right.If you didn't install the orings and rubber seals you will be changing the head gasket again real soon.

the push rod gaskets are in the head gasket,, would take 8, (4 similar came in the kit) kinda see what ya'll are saying about the oil O rings, but the two that came with the kit are way bigger than the hole in the gasket. about 1/2'' Id. guess i'll see if I have a O ring that looks like it will fit

I should have been more clear, only 2 of the push rod openings in each head gasket get the seal, outside left & outside right. The 1/2" id o ring is correct, it is the single round hole almost in between 2 & 3 push rod opening.
