Had an interesting moment yesterday backing down an incline to turn around, luckily I got the trans into a forward gear before I wound up in the woods.
So, I am planning ahead for a brake job on the 885. What are common items you're better off to replace while it's apart? Things like seals, gaskets and bearings for the reductions and parts commonly worn on the brakes (besides the shoes)?
I haven't looked online for parts yet - are the brakes a new, rebuilt or a rivet yourself kind of thing?
