David Brown Parts Availability

I'm looking at purchasing a 880 Case David Brown tractor with loader. Looks like it is a 60s or 70s era. Diesel w/ 3 pt.
Wondering what the parts availability is if I needed something down the road. The loader is a Koyker.

It's far, far, far easier to get DB parts to day than it was even 15 years ago. Case/IH has a pretty good availability on parts and Ebay is filled with parts. I've even gotten parts from Canada, England and Ireland and it took no more than a day or 2 longer coming from overseas than it did from the westcoast USA. In some cases I've gotten parts from England in 3 days with no special mail expense. I wouldn't be scared of any DB diesel from about 1965 on. Some of the older models and gasoline models can be harder to get parts for, but the internet can make that easier too.

Follow up question.
I've found out this tractor has a block
heater.
It will be used in the northern part of
Wisconsin for snow so I need it to start
in the very cold weather but power is
expensive there.
Can glo-plugs be installed on these 3
cylinder diesels?

A Thermo-start is what was installed from the factory. Goes in the intake manifold. If working properly they work well.

Or you can do what I do with my 990 DB. It doesn't have the Thermostart, but the hole for the unit is sitting there in plain site on the side of the intake. I pull the plug out and use an electric hot air gun ($9.00 on sale at Harbor Freight) to get it to start. Just hold it up to the hole and shoot hot air in there. It's the same idea as the thremostart but it doesn't wear your battery down. Works better than a propane torch, but that will work in a pinch too, but the suction tends to kill the flame. The injector pump has cold start setting that very simple to use too in conjuction with the hot air gun. On'y in very cold weather (-25ish or below, I'm on the NY Ontario border) do I need to use the block heater.
