I would like to get the build sheet for my 351. Someone posted in the past as to who might have these, but I cannot seem to find that post now. Does someone have that info? Thanks.

The gal @ cih who does it has the machine down that scans/ prints them I was told,, and cih seems to be in no hurry at all to fix it,, nothing new really from them as they could care less about the real Case equipment anymore, there are only a few people working there who are Case people all the rest are red lovers,, I know some have been waiting for 6 months or more for cards,, not sure if you can tell it or not but for me being in a family Case dealership like I was it does not set well with me to see them drop everything but the Case name in AG stuff and then drop parts for them but still have the ih stuff like they do,, I still deal with the CE (construction) side a lot but all there is there is the backhoes that is true Case,, the people in the CE have a whole different way of thinking than the cih side

I am a relative newbee to Case. We had Oliver and John deere on the farm (which I left almost 50 years ago) though there was a good Case dealer in our town. But in the 2 years I have been in the Case fold, I noticed what you say. IH doesn't seem to care much about Case, but as the one article someone posted, Case carried IH for a long time after the two became one. I have a ford plow. I needed new shears for it. I had no problem getting them from New Holland. Seems like they support their old stuff a lot better. I had an Allis for a while. Agco did OK i thought in supplying parts for my CA. TImes move on I guess, but it is a shame.

If you think about how much time it takes to receive an inquiry, look up that information from paper files, scan it, and send out the info, that service probably costs the company at least $25 for each inquiry. When sales drop and money gets tight, free services are the first thing to be dropped.

That's really sad that this had happened, I had planned to order some for my tractors, but in many ways it doesn't surprise me.

I talked via e-mail with that lady at CIH and she says they are really trying to find a piece of equipment to read the files. I am guessing it is microfisch. She seemed to think they would have it sometime in October. She seems sincere in her comments.

Later on Case Power and Equipment came to Alton, late 60's up until case and IH merged then Orange city which had the IH dealership got to stay open.

Thanks for the additional information. Have you possibly heard of Alton Implement? They were on a Case mechanical pencil (late 40's-early 50's I believe) Don

I'm just saying it's poor form to complain about slow service when its done for free.

YEs, we think Alton Impplement was run by Cornie De Vries.....memory is a bit weak on that. I do remember he also sold Kaiser Frazier autos for a couple years. He had a really small dealership till Don Katt and Marlo Hanson took over which was in the early or mid 60's just when Case was really starting to move some equipment.
