I really am getting tired of the weather so I dug up a few pics, here is yours truly when I was a young pup and leaning on a new "TK" we had on the lot. I remember we were going to demo it, but Dad thought it was gut less, so we took it out to the farm and shop foreman and Dad followed me out with her, and did a "adjustment" (torque capsule) and she had the snot then.

Those historical pictures are great. Back then you actually had to make an effort to take pictures. Now we have cell phones with cameras and can snap pictures of anything, anytime and yet we don't save the pictures that we should. I am certainly not a big time collector but I have several old tractors and 3 of them are Cases. Here is my 1470 that I take out for exercise every spring. A friend of ours bought it brand new in 1972. When they decided to sell it a few years ago, I just had to have a "big" tractor to add to the lineup. The chisel plow is a 20' Case I picked up at an auction. Still trying to find the history on it.

@Charles Lapp, great pictures, love the "1470" bark! We had one of those chisel plows think it was a "WC" 20' I have a pic of it on our "1030" someplace.

Thanks for the pic. I always like seeing old pictures and hearing the stories. That's one thing my family wasn't the best at was taking pictures. From time to time Dad shares a few stories from back then though (I was born in 1987 so I missed out) and I just do my best to imagine the pictures.

Great pic. It looks like you were in the middle of switching tires. Do you know tire size of the rear ones?

Nice pic Dan, I wish we had taken more pics when I was that age, but that was well before the 1470 came out.

Yes Loren, there are so many pictures I would have loved to have right now, especially out at the home farm.

Perdy nice pic Dan, tractor looks good too. If we could only step back in time and get another peek at things 50 years ago. We took so much for granted. Great to see you in these vintage photo's, sure wish I had taken a few. Over a 14 year span I worked for 3 different dealers and never took one pic, sure regret that now. Thanks for showing. Got to go, time to take a pic, LOL. Rod.

Thanks Rod, yes I think about that too, would be something too see again. Yes, there are more pics as my Folks gave me a little Kodak, and I got busy taking pics. I do know these pics are very clear, but better than nothing.

Funny across the street, you see a 59 Chevrolet, this was my best friends brothers car "Agnes"! And the old IHC dealership too.
