990a rear main seal (rope)

machine leaked oil out rear, pulled it apart and no rear seal, put in new rope seal, cranked it up and it pours oil now seal had a gap in it did not go all the way around. is there a different seal or is this the only one. dozinhal

How come you are putting rope in their it is suppose to be two half moon seal K921611 in the upper and lower bracket.

I think it is the same construction as on Case 1490, and there it is two half rope seals.
