Case forage box

Has anyone ever seen a Case forage box? I am downsizing my sales brochure collection and came across a brochure for a Case 850 series power unloading wagon and bunk feeder. It is shown hooked to a Case 600 tractor. It has three beaters and a floor chain that is a web like you find in the bottom of a fertlizer spreader. If interested it will be on Ebay in a few days. Tom

This one is set up as a bunk feeder.

Brad, that must have been the wagon they modeled the toy farm set wagon after. I have never seen a real one like this before.

These boxes were built by a company in Crown Point, Ind, IIRC. Case bought them from that out fit. That co. sold them under the name ' Helix' co' You could get them with higher sides too.
Helix also made a small to mid sized auger wagon for small grain or ground feed
They had the floor in the forage box made with a ' mesh'that moved the load to the front or rear, which ever the way the box was set up.. Never seen one broken. clint

Yup. This one has no paint but is a pretty stout gear.
Can't find any markings to figure out what brand it is but for sure not a Case.

Liberty Ky has the Helix Case Wagon and gear,i once had , My brother got it for Me at auction nearly 20 yrs ago.. it was a handy wagon even if i did not do silage ,, i carefully used it for firewood too . it was built tuf enuf to handle the load. but i reasoned My heavy duty would wreck it in time, So i traded it To Jonathon

Beaters could be in the front or
back.
Lots of options. Erector set type

It does, I don't have a toy any longer, but I'm sure someone does that could post

Thanks for showing all the pics Brad, I had no idea a wagon like that was in the CASE line-up. Rod

Dan, here you go, all set up with a 411B for carpet farming.
We sold a good number of the Helix forage wagons. All 3 tiers high, 3 beaters and front cross conveyor. They could be RH or LH discharge depending on where silos and blowers were placed.
The drag chain didn't look like much compared to a spreader apron type like the competition had but I don't recall one ever breaking. Most of them we sold eventually rotted out. They also got replaced by much bigger forage wagons. They didn't hold much of a load.

There it is Loren, nice condition too. I had them plus a bunch of 930s and 1030s and they all went into my nephews sand pile, long gone. Loren, are there any of the Helix forage wagons left around your way?
