Time for Case Machinery Pictures?

Yes Loren I have cabin fever, and tired of politics also, so thought I would dig through some pictures, and wondered if others would post their Case machinery. Here I just got this disk going last summer, and really glad I did. Its a load for the "DC" but it handles it in 1rst.

Our neighbor had a disc like that when I was a kid. Only he pulled it with a 400.

This is the 400 I bought from our old neighbor after he passed away.

That's how I cleaned up rocks when I had my DCs. Only my rocks were from the foundation of an old cheese factory I hit with the plow.

A couple of plowin' pictures. Wish it was warm enough to drop one in the ground right now for sure..lol! Cheated a little with the Case/IH swather. Bob

That disc is just about identical to the Cockshutt one of 55 to 62 years. I wonder who made them for Case and Cockshutt? Maybe the Ohio cultivator Company in Bellevue Ohio that Cockshutt bought?

Here is one from some years ago. I was giving my daughter and grandson a ride around after fall harvest.

Well Dan, I don't have many Case implements, but I have a good amount of custom made equipment that I made to look like Case implements, and accessories for my Case tractors.

I bought this SC from a guy who had rebuilt the engine, but said it didn't have any compression. Turns out the timing gear wasn't in the correct position. The plows are Case, but I think the disc may be a John Deere?

I sure enjoyed everyone's posts, pictures, machinery and tractors, and the others also. Thank you all!

Loren I bet you have the most complete line-up of CASE wood handling equipment in the country, Rod.

I'll add a couple more. The first is a Case 646 I owned for a short time. It didn't suit my needs so I sold it.

This 400 was my snow mover until I sold it, and bought the 530 I have now.

Loren,

I bought the 1175 with no cab or ROPS. It was the first tractor I ever bought, so I really didn't know what I was looking at or for. Its a fun tractor and I have a real soft spot for it. But I want to do some different things on the farm, so this spring I need to sit down and make a tough call on it. If I end up keeping it, I would like to start looking for a cab for it. More than you probably wanted to know.

Did your ex-wife move back in with her parents after the divorce? Maybe he's holding that against you. :)

(quoted from post at 18:27:28 02/08/18) I really like your downspout on your barn. My kind of yard art.
Loren

I had to got back through the pictures to find the downspout. It's in jmandrze post. I wonder if we could get a closer set of pictures of it?

Darn Tom, I have forgotten what size it is, and my info is at the farm but I will post again and put down the size. Yes I love the disk, and hopefully after being gone for 5 years I'm going to get my beat up old "LA" home and leave it on it. There is just something about lettered tractors, and the equipment back then, also that era, I really love those years. Life was simple and small farms.

Those are anti-theft taters for if you're standing next to an unscrupulous person so they can't stick them in your bag. They are called red unsteelables. They are a very rare type only grown in Mn.

Yes that one would work,, I do wish I had had a bit better year as I would have already been working on a deal if possible on it

L.Fure,

I look forward to seeing it.

Tom, just getting back to you, its a "S" 128 12' 11" it should be a 10' for the "DC" but I plan to put the old "LA" on it.

Don, love all your pictures, but like this last one a lot, is that a "600" on the 6 bottom? That caught me big time, how did the tractor handle the 6 bottom

Loren, as far as I'm concern your implements in the last picture are as close to Case as can be! And the tractor pictures are really good

Jason, Case had literature and posters out that showed the "1175" w/o a ROPS or Cab. They also commented in the poster you could buy one like it (Desert Sunset 1175 probably in 1973) for $11750.00!!!!

Yes , a 600 Diesel on a 6 x 14 plow. Pulled it just fine. .. wheels din't slip....wide open was not needed.

The Rc looks really good. I have one just like that a 1937 serial number 401082 with dual wheel front end. Where did you get the paint and what was the color code. So is that what they call light gray
