I have a Case model N disk that has been passed through the family since new (I think from the 40's or 50's?). Does anyone know what years these were made or how to date it? The original paint is orange and green. Sorry I dont have a pic yet.

That's it! Mine is identical to yours except I have no trace of original paint. I'm going to repaint mine in the original orange and green paint scheme.

Thanks guys. I did find a manual its dated 1951, I attached a pic hope it works. I've never seen another disk of this model in person, but one came up for sale online last year. Was trying to find the date range they were built, or if it's even possible to narrow down to a specific year. My disk has been passed through the family and the ones with this knowledge have passed on years ago.

I've a model N here, 6' I use on my field roads the cattle move on. I have the manual, dated 8-51, but I don't have a flatbed scanner, just a batch scanner that does individual pages. I'll take a pic of mine today when I go out and check on my calves. It's a none wheeled tandem disc with a lever on the tongue that you pull up with a rope. Drive fwd to increase your disc angle, and back up to straighten out. The book shows optional hyd ears to replace the "rope"
