I am in the process of restoring a case 450 dozer I pulled out of the woods. I got it running and changed all the fluids now I am working on leaks. There is a major leak coming from the bell housing and just pouring on the ground the bottom of the bell housing where u can stick your hand in where its open is just pooled with fluid. The dozer runs and has plenty of power used it the other day but is has a constant stream of fluid coming from this area. I change the trans fluid and put new filters on it and the charge filter was completely blocked with rust and debris. the trans had a lot of water mixed in with the fluid. Like I said though the dozer has plenty of power its just leaking like crazy. It moves and steers great. Any idea what is going on here I don't think the torque converter is bad being that I can still used the dozer just have to fill the trans up all the time. Any help would be much appreciated thanks in advance.

Ok is this something I can do myself or is it something that needs to be done by a professional? I am pretty mechanically inclined just don't know if there are special tools that need to be used? also it the easiest way to pull the converter by pulling the motor up and out or by trying to take it off the back of the motor in the rails?
