My son Scott, and I went to the local tractor salvage yard, MacFadden and Son. (518-284-2090) last Sat morning. Here are the case highlites. We started in the sales yard with the 72/73?? 1070 and the 930 CK. All the other tractors were in the salvage yard. Sadly we saw a lot of tractors with our dealership decals on them. My son is druling over the 841C that he is sitting on. The motor is seized, with no oil showing on dipstick. Appears an oil change was in order and someone forgot to ad the new oil. The tractor is pristeen and has a 930/1030 front axle under it, perhaps to replace a narrow front. Starting with the pic. of the 900B, those tractors are in the special yard across the road. the 5 cabs are military surplus which were built for 590CKs?? I duubt that Case will ever see their shipping crates back. HeHe.
Please don't undermine Scott or me on the 841C or the old 930 round fender, as we are looking to deal on both of them.
Thad, after you said the 301 was not there, I called down and they said that they thought that I had it. Jimmy mad me an offer a couple years back when it came in, to get it running and restored, but I didn't take him up on it. I think the yard guys drug it down in back and started parting it out, unbeknown to management, as the gauge cluster and rear fenders are now missing.
Loren.

Thanks for posting, looks like a really neat yard. Most yards here in MN jumped on the scrap prices a few years ago and lot of good ol stuff just isn't around this part of the world anymore

Loren:

Thanks for the pictures. Makes me want a few things, like that 2 row cultivator on the three hundred. I saw that center mounted mower. I have a 52 VAI with the lift cylinder on the side.

Charley gold medal winner and world champion powerlifter.

Loren, looking at these pictures makes me happy that I saved my SC and CC. They surely would have ended up in a yard like that never to be seen or used again. Thanks for the pictures, Allan.

Loren: How can you tell the difference between a 930-1030 front end & a 730-830 front? Weren't they all the same on the CK's? Interesting, how one owner can have a 50, or even 60 year old tractor, still in use & looking & running good, and another owner wreck good iron in 20 years!!

my ,,kinda like going to amuseum ,, my place is getting to look like that too.. lol ,,. and I w isht I had that yard close to home ,..

Thanks for posting the pictures Loren, there's nothing like that down here looks like a lot of salvageable tractors. Good luck on making the deal for the 2 you want.

Loren,

Was the 300 with cultivators the one from the Herb Wessel Auction last June? Do you know if he is keeping it, selling it, I sure hope he is not scrapping it! Anyway, it is about 8 hours from me, tempted to make the trip for one of them!

All I can say is, I really enjoyed every picture, and thanks Loren for taking the time to load all these. This looks like treasure island.
Hey Loren, just found your address, check has been ready for a while. It will go off tomorrow
