Well, I haven't been looking for this tractor. We have never really missed it. It just never pulled like our 2390 even though they both put out 190hp since they were new and never been turned up. This '78 1370 was only a couple yrs old and a few hundred hrs when we bought it. I just came across it on the local jockey/consignment lot. I knew right away it was our old one as I drove up! We sold it to a neighbor in 1996 and he sold it to another guy about 20 miles away. I knew roughly where it went to. This current owner didn't take very good care of it as you can see. Evidently he passed about a yr ago and the family is selling all the machinery at the consignment sale next week. Although I have mixed emotions, I told dad I wasn't planning to buy it back, we have wayyy to many tractors already. (Sorry Rod, I know this is your favorite tractor and you have some nice ones!) We did overhaul the motor and powershift while we owned it and it currently has just under 3500 hrs showing which should be correct. The last two pics are right before we sold it. Brad

Wow, that tractor was beautiful when you sold it! Around here, northern Indiana, we'd froth at the mouth for one in the condition that one is in today. Still looks very good to me!!

It only had around 31xx or maybe a few more hrs when we sold it. Those are the same rear tires we put on it! It had the original Armstrongs on it before these Goodyear. I did find some filter change notes in the ops manual and I know for sure it's my dads hand writing. The only date listed was on Oct 5, 1982 it had 1692 hrs. Brad

At 3500 hrs that is a very low hr tractor for its age. Was a sharp tractor when you had it. Still not to bad, most in this area have really been neglected as the are no longer the main horse. I see the oil filters look as though they are rusting so they been on for a while. Thanks for showing, Rod.

It looks like it has the same rear tires now as it did when you owned it.With only 3,500 hours it has a lot of life left. How often can you own a tractor twice? better own it again!Lol!!

On the Road with Dave Gohl: Tractors and Farming - by Dave Gohl. I never thought I'd live to see the day, when I could call myself a farmer. What allows me to say this? Well, when our family moved to our 20 acre site near New Prague, Minnesota, I had one thought in mind. You guessed it, farm it somehow. A little history is in order. In my younger days, mom, dad and my brother made frequent visits to dad's youngest brother Pete, who took over the home farm from grandpa MIke. It was the typical set-up, milk cows, pigs & chickens. In the winter, we'd play
