OT: Father Passed Away

Good afternoon everyone,

I know I don't have much to contribute to the forums lately (with a busy life in school, working full time, & planning a wedding), I muster enough energy to read occasionally but have very little tractor activity to speak of - The '41 SC and the '41 Unstyled A are sitting in the garage waiting for spring or spare time, but I have to go a different direction in my talks today...

I am sorry to inform everyone (even though nobody on the forum knew my father), but he passed away suddenly on Thursday from a massive heart attack at the age of 55. His health has seen some sticky spots the last few years, but I believe now he is at peace. I wanted to post on here, simply because he supported my passion for tractors, and I know all of you would share a little bit of grief to have lost a fellow enthusiast. The photo included is of my dad, and my grandfather (deceased in 1993) working on grandpa's 1940 IH M in the summer of 1988. I appreciate everyone's condolences, and am thinking that the '41 Unstyled A JD will be finished up in his memory - he never did get to see the tractor before he passed.

So sorry for your loss,I understand a busy life all of my tractors are in memory of passed family members but I have not had time to work on them as life has gotten the best of my time hopefully time can ease your pain and you can have fond memores of your time with them an enjoy life again just remember God has a plan

So So Sorry for your loss!!!!!!!!! My Dad and best freind passed on almost 4 years ago. I still miss him everyday!!!!!!! Just know he would want you to carry on. And, He didnt suffer for months like my Dad did. may God be with you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Kenny :cry:
 
Its never easy losing a loved one especially before the Holidays Myself and My family are thinking of You and Yours this Thanksgiving and knowing You all will be thinking of all the good times You had while Your dad was here and will think of him always God bless You and Your family from NW Minn.
 
Thank you everyone for your thoughts and prayers during this tough time for my family. I hope you all have a great Thanksgiving, and it is great to see such support from a great group of people. Again, thank you... Hopefully I can make another tractor related post soon.
