They're a few white 770's around painted after the fact by their owners or dealers to give them an updated look.. Case and David Brown combined in late 1972 or early 1973. I've seen a few 1973 tractors bearing a decal on the lower radiator side panels with both names. New colors for both line began to appear in late 1973 to begin 1974 with Power REd and Power White. After the merger, the first tractor to be eliminated was the 770. While the 770 never lasted into the white era, the 870Many people are unaware that the color change affected both companies. DB tractors were a chocolate brown color on the bottom and Orchid white on top. Case took on white and DB took on famous Case orange. DB owners at the time were probably stunned to learned a tractor named brown was going to be painted Power Red as each company gave up a historic color. If you want to be color correct then use Desert Sunset and Power Red.

I could be wrong but I do not think CASE made any white 770's. I would stick with the desert sunset and power red. They look good in those colors.

The discussion started out with the following post: " I bought a trailer and plan to take my CASE VAS to some shows. I don't yet have anything to secure it to the trailer.
