The steering cylinders on the 440 have been leaking badly this summer. I took the 6 5/8" bolts out that hold the front axle on, and let it down with the floor jack. It went much better than laying on a creeper and fighting to wiggle the cylinders out from between the pan and axle frame, plus I gave the whole axle assy. a power wash. The hyd shop will have the cylinders rebuilt this week. That will give me time to work on the mod hitch on the rear of the tractor. The plow frame made a perfect place to put the jack stands. It is supposed to start raining here tonight and rain through Friday.
