Can anyone tell me what the R-757-S Grease retainers are made from? They are missing from my gauge wheel assembly, and I want to make/buy some.

They are a grease seal. Those wheels had needle bearings in them and mine like most are long gone and tore up. I bore them out and install bronze bushings.

Thanks, I thought that they might be felt or some other odd thing. My needle bearings are shot, but everything is in good enough condition for me to replace them.

I just bored my hub out it 1.375 and 1.625 to make the bores round again and then made a flange bearing for both sides. Just got it back on today. Have a few parts I need, I'll email you when I finally make a list. Next is a new tire.............
