Case SC PTO

I have been looking at pictures of SC models with the Eagle Hitch and don't see a PTO where the top link attaches to the tractor. Is that a cover over the PTO or were tractors without the PTO when fitted with the EH?

One of the two brackets for the top link covers the PTO when it is in place. The only implements which used both the PTO and Eagle Hitch simultaneously were a rotary mower and several sickle bar mowers. These implements required a separate bracket which should be bolted to the top of the rear casting.

To add if the SC was a factory convert you have no way to use the eagle hitch and the PTO together. My 51 was converted at the factory which only changed the transmission case giving you the rock shaft for the eagle hitch. The PTO and hydro pump were reused from the original 51 tractor which has round top. The 52 to 54 pto case has a flat in which the secondary top link bracket was bolted to.
