1175, the bearing behind the Pto clutch drum failed sending a ball bearing on top of the bull gear until it met the brake pinion shaft. The bull gear appears to be fine. In the tractors defense, it was the "big" tractor on the farm for many years until this spring when a 1370 was purchased... From Warren G.

Eric I have only ever repaired one 1170 final drive. For their HP they do very well. The local salvage lets me snoop through the parts to see if there is anything I can use. I have noticed they seldom sell parts for those rear ends. Rod.
