Recently our daughter and son in law pulled up some flooring and found some old news papers. Interesting reading and here is a sample dating from 1940 to 1956 by a Minneapolis MN paper. I found very little farm related items in these papers. How about the price on bif, that does not even sound good. They did not find the hidden money either, LOL. Rod.

Looks like used auto prices were different than today. Dad bought my first car, a 57 Chevy in 1962 for $475. Wonder if Wilinsky Parts is in business yet. Remember calling for parts in the 80's.

Hi Rod;

Thanks for the picture of Luzon. My dad helped finish that mess. He was a combat engineer in the 6TH Army. New Guinea, invasion of Leyte. battle of zig zag pass where they took back Bataan and the Philippians. I was born on May 22,1943. Dad came home on leave in June for two weeks and left and didn't come home for two and half years from Japan. He was discharged at Camp McCoy Wis. He was working at Canton MN. when he was drafted. Dad was raised in that area.

Just sifting through them I did not notice any dealer ads or manufactures, there is a few I seen in the classifieds, Rod.
