Got my 770 home from auction, looking it over, replacing some hydraulic hoses, I want to change hydraulic fluid, any options for fluid besides hy-tran? this is a gear drive, 8 speed, I can understand using hy-tran for a power shift, is it necessary for the gear driver models?

I agree with Eric, and only a couple bucks more than name brand will fit oils, the cheap stuff you don't want. Its might be just a gear shift model, but it still has the same hydraulic system. Rod.
