1290 case

I have a chance to buy a 1290 case in ok shape but I don't have any experience with these particular tractors does anybody know if these are decent tractors. thanks

The 1290 is just a revision of the DB 990. More than half of the tractors DB produced were 990s or their direct relatives(900,950,990,995,1290,1294,etc...). Lots of people thought very highly of them. Aside from issues related to age, abuse, and normal British built issues(oil leaks, and electrical), they are a very good tractor.

If I had a need for a 50HP tractor, I would certainly consider one.
