1939 was a busy year not only for Case. JD introduced their Styled D and the H. I think the Ford 9N came out, and who can forget the IH Farmall letter Series probably the most popular series ever made by anyone.

I have been told that of ALL models of tractors, the H Farmall sold more than any other tractor model.

I don't know for sure the production numbers, but I wouldn't be at all surprised if this is true. Every area of the country I have been in, seems every few farms there is still an H kicking around. We have one. Who doesn't, haha!

I think that's true for just IH tractors. But I think there were more Ford 8ns and Fordsons sold then the H.

You are right. I was told some incorrect information. TractorData.com indicated the following numbers rounded off

H Farmall 391,000
8N Ford 524,000
F Fordson 747,000
