VAI - VAC

I am new to JI Case and have a question for the experts: Will the rear hubs off a VAC fit on the rear axle of a VAI. I have a VAI with 24 in rubber and want to go to 28 in.

yes they have the same axle diameter size, I have done this swap before

Thanks, I didn't know if the VAC hub was deeper than the VAI hub and if there would be a problem with clearance from the end of the axle to the axle housing.

You may need a chin strap in road gear......

I have VAC centers for 32 inch rims and also a set for 38 inch rims and also 2 VAC parts machines and a VAI I need to work on one of those days

Yea I know, May race some of the big green machines

. She does pretty good now. She is the first rubber tired tractor my dad and uncle bought at the end of WWII
