I was told a 4890 brought $5500 & a 4894 brought $7,000. Both had duals. If I had gone, they would have brought mega-bucks. My luck. They can be seen by googling Alex Lyon Auctions. 12/5/13.

seems like the market is soft all over ,,.neighbor had a internet consignment auction,.prices usually are nutz in the end ,, not this time ,,I got a nice ihc soybean special 21 hole drill for under 800,. they had serveral mother deers there ,, the 10 and 20 series brought from 3800-7500 or so ,, you can chek them out at beckort auction under hayday ,,

my sara bid that in for me while I was at planning and zonin mtg ,,john ,, do you know anything about these drills?? ..kinda think it was a durn good deal ,Too,,,like proverbs says .,good things happen to those that accept correction well ,,. LOL .i plan to disc 1st ..then plant with it ,,,looks like it had liquid fertilizer attachment , cut off 1/4 blue applicator lines still on each disc ...... gonna put my oliver drill up for sale now

Jim: They are an excellent drill. The later 5400 had some improvements, but I'm not knockin' the 5100.
