receiver dryer for 1070

More ac questions.

Can I use the new ac receiver dryer I bought for my 1070 even though it has a switch port. The tractor has nothing to plug into it. The old dryer didn't have a switch port. The case part number does cross reference with the new dryer #. Is the port there if needed for other models.

Also, there is no flow direction arrow on the dryer. Should I go by how the old one was installed which had no arrow either.

Yes, You can use the new receiver/dryer. Install the same way the old one came out.
