Here is Bernard and Becky Bias, with their oldest son Blain. At the Kiester Mn show 2013. Bernard's Golden Opportunity backed to the show's carriage. It was a great time.

Don, I want to thank you for posting these fine pictures. I appreciate all of the fine CASE pictures you and all the other fine foke post/share on The CASE Forum.

No , it is a LA with traction tires, not fwd. It was the late Dale Yonkey's tractor. He was a most fun character to hang around with. His son brought it to the show, as he owns it now. That 4 bottom plow in the pics is attached to it. Nice rig, big and strong,[like Dale was]. Dale used to pull the LA, and get asked about the FWD it didn't have. They fell in his trap.

Don,
Very nice photos you posted. Thank you for them. My favorite ids the Spirit of '76 1570. There is just something about the patriotic paint job that I really like.

My dad and Dale were great friends, and I can"t remember when I didn"t know the Yonkeys. They always had Cases, we had Deeres. It caused some friendly rivalries between Dale"s son, Mike, and my brothers and I. We settled it with a log chain, or a plow, and on the pulling track a few times. I am still a Case fan today thanks to Dale and Mike. And thanks to my dad, Art Allis and Dale Yonkey, I am still an old tractor nut. They started us young, Thanks Men!! Miss you Dale and Darlene. Darin Allis.

LOL! It usually started about a day or two before the upcoming pull. We would have our tractors weighted to pull a particular class, and our dad's would set up a practice pull on the field road. Dad would get a bucket full of dirt with our 4430, throw a chain under the bucket, hook the tractors up and pull. By lifting the front wheels off of the ground and riding the brake, we had a transfer sled. But even to our teenage brains it wasnt accurate enough. Sooo the chain would instead be hooked between our B JD and Their SC, or the G and the DC, or the 720 and the LA. Usually dug four holes and no one moved. Dad and Dale would have a Pabst and laugh at their sons.
