Serial numbers for 1170

Did some searching here on YT for serial number breaks for the 1170 and Im somewhat confused. My 1170 has a tag with 237**** number. The parts catalog states it should be either before or after 8675001 ? Not making sense here....

that sounds like the trans serial tag tractor serial is above the LH step right above the floor board below the black panel that has 451 cubes I can take a pic of one to show you if you can not find it
