Case 4230 Speedometer

Hello.
I recently got a Case 4230 and everything seams to work well appart from the speedometer does not display the speed. It just stays at 0. Could anybody suggest where I might start looking for the reason as to why it does not work or how I might go about fixing it?

Somewhere, there is a speed sensor, from looking at the parts schematic it gives little indication of location. Anyway mine gave it up on the 5250. I had display in the dash but never changed. It had worked initially. I can't remember if I used an ohm meter to test it or not but it won't hurt it to use one. Tom
