It has the same engine as the 930. I'm not sure if the bell housing bolt pattern would be the same as the 6 speed or the 8 speed. Case used the left over tin from the previous models for the power units. It is correct. Very nice find. It is worth whatever you and the seller agree on. Condition of the engine is everything.

Jonathon , don't let that one get away ,,. I doubt whether it will bolt into my sons 1967,,930 ,,but that is a good one to grab

yes that should be a 401 power unit model like others said they used up outdated sheet metal/parts on power units that is a rare find to be in that kind of shape I hope you can save it and in my opinion it would be a real shame to part it for the engine if you do I would like to discuss buying the tinwork and pto /skid units thanks for posting

gonna have to search archives ,, seems like I read somewhere.... the 930 changed drastically when hand clutch to foot clutch metamorphis occurred about 1964

1965. We had a 63 930 with a foot clutch. It was the same as the 6 speed Comfort Kings. Big change was with the change to the 8 speed and draft-o matic in 1965.

Tin is correct it is a 900b motor out of a standard tractor . I have the lp version. But that one is in better shape
