Past Case Forum Post Idea's

With a late spring here in WI. I got to use some Case forum idea's. Went digging in my grainery-o-parts and found 2 radios to make 1. The steps are off a 2090. We revamped the steps to angle them toward the doorway and move the steps out from the cab a couple inches. The factory duals I took to a wheel shop and they cut the 16' wide rim off and welded a 18' rim on for the 20.8 38's. I replaced the fuel tank because the steel filler insert had come loose. I have installed a number of these aftermarket tanks, and they seem to be well made. If the fuel sender fits. Lol.

Eric I would sure like to find another working radio like that, to last 2 I got have been duds. I have never used a aftermarket fuel tank yet, but it sounds like you give them thumbs up. Rod.

AK, I don't know much about the "4-diget" series. The upgrades you have done look good and appears user friendly too. Thanks for sharing

Eric,
That 1175 looks great. I'd like to find some steps like those for my 1070 someday. Hope all is well at your place. Snow gone yet? LOL

Eric,

I sure like the improved steps idea. I'm going to try that on my 1175, as soon as I get done planting. Thanks for posting pics. Don

Rod, The tanks are well made. For the most part. Instead of the rubber inserts in the bottom of the tank these have brass pipe fittings molded into them. The radio I found in a New Holland swather at the salvage yard $25. Yea, they are hard to come by, being 35 plus years old and all!
