Hi guys, I am looking for my Father's 400 we had when I was growing up. I was able to get the serial number ( 8066323 - 1956 year ), from a family member of the original CASE dealer he bought it from. I live in NW Ohio, and would like to know if anyone possibly in Ohio or surrounding states has a 400 with this serial number. Am hoping it didn't get scrapped over the years. Thanks, Mike

Hey Mike, I have been meaning to give you a call sometime. I work almost everyday after school and we have started working ground now so I"ve been busy. I can still scan those pages for you. My email is drew.henry96@yahoo.com Good luck tracking down those tractors, would be cool if you could find one or two.

I know the feeling Drew, working alot myself, doesn't allow much time for anything else it seems. Want to talk to you about VAC when we get a chance. Still would like those pages also. Plenty of time once things settle down. Mike

Sorry I should have given more details. It was a Gas, tricycle front end, 4 speed with a Lo / Hi making it 8 speeds Fwd , 2 Rev. and was traded back to Henry Bros for a used 930 Case ( 8366735 ) that my cousin bought at our sale, and still has. Thanks for all the help guys, please let me know if I can supply any more info to make the search easier. Mike

Mine came out of east-central OH, but the serial number is before yours. It's 8062114, I believe. According to the serial number guide here, both tractors are 1955 models.

Your probably right Tim, Dad bought it in 1956 from Henry Bros. the CASE dealer in our area. Records show it was a 411 Model. Thanks, Mike
