2290 transmission

I just bought a 2290 (with a power-shift transmission)that had transmission problems, because it had a loader I needed for my other 2290. 1st and 2nd gear work fine. It won't move in 3rd or 4th gear. It feels like it goes in gear correctly. No grinding, just doesn't move when you let out on the clutch. Any ideas anyone.

(PTO doesn't work, but don't think it's related.)

I wonder if the key on the shift lever isn't sheared. Have someone shift it in and out of gear while you go down on the lower RH side of trans and watch if the lever is actually moving the shaft. If its not remove lever and replace the key. If it is moving drain trans oil and remove that square steel side cover which is right above the shift levers. Then have someone shift it again while your watching inside and I bet you would see what the problem is, Rod.
