Case VAC steering wheel color

I"m restoring a Case VAH and am wondering the proper color for the spokes on the steering wheel. I"ve seen some painted black and some painted orange. I am thinking they should be orange, but does someone know for sure???? Thanks!!

I use my original shop manual that covers tractors as well as both hi-pressure and lo-pressure hydraulic systems to get the decal placement correct when I do a tractor, if you pay close attention to the pics it appears the spokes should be black.

I paint mine any color is desire, and if people don't like it they don't have to look at it.

There is too much correctionious going on anyhow.
I know the word is spelled rong, but some one will correct me on it.

Does'nt matter if a word is spelled wrong or right as long as it gets the job done.....just like my flambeau red steering wheel spokes, may not be right but it still works.

My 53' VAC-14 has black spokes, and a black steering shaft, also. It is in original condition. Nick@KY also has a very nice VAC-14 in original condition with black spokes and black steering shaft. Both of these tractors have the late style sheet metal and steering.

Like Joe's, mine is rusty Flambeau, even under where the bakalite has chipped off.

Apparently Case had no set rules on this. Mine has the wheel spokes and hub black, and the shaft is flambeau, all original paint!
