removing dash lights

I need to do some painting on my 430 dash. Is there a way to remove the oil pressure light and generator light without destroying them? They are the type that has the spring behind them and a slot at the 12:00 position. Thanks

They should just twist counterclockwise and pop out unless they are corroded in place then you may need to destroy and replace.

Hold the light into the dash, push the portion behind the dash towards it and as stated, turn 1/4 turn counter clockwise.
