finally gave up on 930 called mechanic for servu

i finally called a tractor mechanic to come out . running on four cyl. all 6 cyl compression test 145 -150 . i pulled the valve cover rockers and push rods working correctly . put 2 new plugs in cly 1 & 2 both had spark. new gas, i'm wondering if plug wires(new but cut to fit)are breaking down. i guess mechanic will figure it out.... it's crazy..... thanks for the suggestions john

qwere the new plugs Champions?? If so, go get 2 equivalent AC plugs of the same heat range and try them, Champion plugs have turned into junk. I will never buy another one. They are probably made in China now to cut cost. I have had the same issue with my 630 and Champion plugs.

the front 2 were champ i replaced them with autolite 3116

mechanic came out today turned on the key and wires started smoking in dash area. replaced circuit breaker, still smoked . maybe ignition switch i try to run it down. temp started to drop he's coming back on a better day spitting snow 32 degrees. this tractor could be a reality series.
