My Granddad had and old Case tractor with a square hole thru the radiator for the the steering rod to steering post connection. I've often wondered what that tractor was all about-- it was stolen while I was away in the Navy, so I have only the memory--I think it was maybe 40's/early vintage, any ideas of model No. of this big old steel wheeled beast?

I don't recall any Case tractors with the steering thru the radiator, but then again, I'm just a young pup when it comes to Case's.

Was the tractor painted gray? Go into the Tractor Photos under the Galleries Section and do a search. Might want to try searching photos for: Case RC or Case CC or Case L to start with.

Today's Featured Article - Listening to Your Tractor - by Curtis Von Fange. Years ago there was a TV show about a talking car. Unless you are from another planet, physically or otherwise, I donít think our internal combustion buddies will talk and tell us their problems. But, on the other hand, there is a secret language that our mechanical companions readily do speak. It is an interesting form of communication that involves all the senses of the listener. In this series we are going to investigate and learn the basic rudimentary skills of understanding this lingo. ... [Read Article]
