I been looking @ 1982 2390 tractor has 4700 hrs on it paint is good tires are good 20 38 radials front an rear weights with duals has had a fresh power shift work by former case tech on scale one to 10 the mechanical condition seems to be an 8 all the lights gauges the work also its the long wheel base version what be the value of an tractor in this condition

There was a 2390 that sold on a CaseIH dealer inventory reduction auction just after Christmas for 17500. I don't know if that tractor had any power shift work done but the tractor was really clean with good paint and had around 4500 hours. That price seemed a little high to me but stuff sold well at the auction as I'm sure people were trying to get end of the year tax deductions. I would think if you could get the tractor for 15000 it's probably a deal. 4700 hours are relatively low for a 2390 anymore.

Dealer here, E SD, has a 2090, duals, 5700 hours, 115 hp, good looking, $14,500.

In southeast Missouri where I live thats a 6000 dollar tractor no matter how how much spent on it or how good it looks sad but true
