I saw a case 400 advertised in the local paper today for $900 it states that tractor runs good, good tires, needs some work. Will also part out. Not really in the market for one but sounds like a great deal to me. Could always use a case for the collection. This post was edited by Philt at 17:03:10 12/01/12.

The paper is a weekly ad out of Concord, MI called the Salesman. I don't think I will bye it as I don't really need or have a use for it. If you are interested I can get the phone number for you.

It seems like the older equipment can do a job, albeit slowly compared to newer stuff, but it tends to break more often. Many of the breakdowns are related to the implements that are being used: the disc, wagon or bushog are among them. Knowing how to fix stress cracks, reinforce weak joints by welding on steel support plates, or cutting and shaping parts and adapters out of raw stee
