remote hyd valve 2470

I need to send my valve to someone who has access to case parts and the knowledge to repair it. Currently it bleeds off or creeps with either valve. All suggestion excepted. Email is open.

i had the same problem with mine 2470 a few years back, i went to the dealer for a rebuild kit and the talked to one of the guys in back and said it could also be a problem deeper in the tractor, the guy that came out was telling me it could be also part of the system linked to the power shift, he hooked it up and did a load test and it did end up being just a bad o-ring. don't know if this helps you but i didn't want to start sticking money it it and find out it was something else.

If the valve does not hold a load (leaks down) the problem is check valves. They have always been available so I assume still are, it's a couple yrs. since I rebuilt one. Would be glad to take a look at it if for some reason you can't find a closer service place. Rod.

Rod, all the Dealers within 200 miles were IH outfits not Case. our last Case dealer in Craig was gone by 1976. So distance in a box isn't important. I'll go ahead and pull it next week and make a decision who to ship it to.
