Wisconsin AC4 engine off case?

I have just obtained a Wisconsin AC4-1 engine that appears to be complete.

I am told these types of engines were used on early Case balers and early pull type Case combines.

Do any of you know where I can get parts like a head gasket and possibly a ring set for this engine?

The AC4 is a 2-5/8 bore with a 3-1/4 stroke turning out a blistering 16hp @ 2600 rpm.

They were made between 1934-1945.

This is the first 4 cylinder in-line air cooled valve in head engine made.

There is one thing that I can’t understand there is a pulley on the side of the engine toward the back and it has what looks like an ole magneto drive on the end.

The engine is in a frame and has a bell housing with an engagement lever and a 4-1/2 double pulley.

The little engine has a fuel pump, electric starter and a distributor. I even have the fuel tank but don’t know where its attached. The carburetor is a Stromberg

The engine is stuck but seems to be complete. It was running when it was abandon

The AC4 engine was used in many applications. I have one in a Utilitor tractor and another parts engine. I think Olson Gaskets in Oregon can supply the gaskets. I have an origional Wisconsin instuction book and parts list for the model AC4 engine. Can you post pictures of your engine? Phil
